Facility Reservation Forms

I. To Reserve A Community Center or A Reservable Picnic Site:

All permit requests must be submitted a minimum of 3 weeks prior to event date. Submission of the completed application form DOES NOT confirm a guaranteed reservation. Bookings are on a first-come, first-served basis. At minimum, a security deposit is due at the time of application approval. Payment in full for a reservation will be due within 10 calendar days after the reservation is confirmed.

II. To Get A Permit for Open Space (Permit to Gather) for Groups of 25 or more or for a Bounce House Permit

A picnic Permit to Gather is required for groups of 25 persons or more under LB Municipal Code, Section 16.16.020. It is a permit to gather ONLY and does not entitle, reserve, or guarantee any specific area or any amenities and does NOT include the use of any reservable sites or athletic fields. Please contact the Field & Beach Permit Office (562) 570-3204 for athletic field permits.

All moon bounces must be rented from the approved vendors list. The vendor list can be found on the Bounce House and Inflatable Vendors webpage. The vendor of your choice should be contacted prior to submitting your request.

Please indicate on the application form the moon bounce company selected from the authorized list of Moon Bounce Vendors, how many and type of moon bounce. 

(No personal moon bounces or personal soft plays allowed)

III. Department Fee Waiver Policy and Forms:

Fee waiver requests must be submitted a minimum of 60 days prior to the event date to allow time for processing.

1. Determine your group's eligibility for a possible reduction of rental fees by reviewing the Fee Waiver Policy

• The event must be open to the public
• The event must be a direct benefit to the Long Beach community

2. Fill out the Fee Waiver Form
3. Fill out the Levine Act Disclosure Statement, 
4. Fill out the Application and Rules for Facility, Senior Center, Picnic Areas, and Open Space
5. Submit #2, #3, and #4 along with a copy of your driver’s license or ID to prm-info@longbeach.gov.
