Long Beach Parks, Recreation and Marine encourages all residents to "stay and play" in Long Beach during the "100 Days of Summer" from Memorial Day to Labor Day. The City of Long Beach and the Long Beach Convention and Visitor's Bureau will post hundreds of activities on www.100DaysOfSummer.org to make planning each of your 100 days easy and fun!

Movies in the Park 
Movies begin at dusk. Bring a lawn chair, blanket, picnic style dinner, and family and friends. Free popcorn provided by Signal Hill Petroleum
June 30 - Sing at Whaley Park
July 21 - The Jungle Book at Orizaba Park 
August 11 - A Dog's Purpose at Stearns Champions Park 
August 22 - Beauty and the Beast at Orizaba Park 

Long Beach Municipal Band
Celebrate 108 years of the Long Beach Municipal Band. Come out with your family and friends for music under the stars. Bring a blanket, chair and food and enjoy the sounds of big band, pop, jazz and more. All concerts begin at 6:30 p.m. and are FREE!

Shoreline Symphonic Winds
Concerts begin at 7 p.m.
July 21 at Orizaba Park 
August 11 at Stearns Champions Park

Friends of El Dorado Nature Center Concert Series
Gates open at 6:30 p.m. Concerts begin at 7 p.m.  Bring a picnic dinner and low back chairs.  $3 donation at the gate to Friends of El Dorado Nature Center

Fourth District Community Concert
Join the Fourth Council District as we close out summer with a family fun day at Whaley Park with live entertainment by Pop Vinyl. There will be children activities, information booths, opportunity drawings and more!
