Protect Yourself Against the Flu

The Health Department will be holding annual walk-in flu clinics beginning October 20, 2015. Everyone over the age of six months is encouraged to get a flu shot. Parents are encouraged to bring their children's immunization records. Some children will require two doses of the vaccine, given one-month apart.

10/26 - El Dorado Park Teen Center, 2800 Studebaker Ave, 9 am - 12 pm
11/7 - Long Beach Senior Center, 1150 4th, 9 am - 12 pm
11/9 - American Gold Star Manor, 3021 N. Gold Star, 9 am - 12 pm
11/16 - Scherer Park, 4600 Long Beach Blvd, 9 am - 12 pm
11/18 - Bixby Park, 130 Cherry Ave, 9 am - 12 pm
11/21 - Houghton Park, 6301 Mrytle Ave, 9 am - 12 pm
If you are unable to attend one of the scheduled walk-in clinics, you can schedule an appointment to obtain your flu vaccination through the Health Department's Immunization Clinic, located at 2525 Grand Avenue. Call (562) 570-4315 to schedule your appointment.
