The City of Long Beach, Councilman Dee Andrews, and the Peace
Week Committee invite you to a
Candlelight Peace March
In an effort to lift the consciousness of the community about Dr.
Martin Luther King, Jr.'s legacy and principle, Councilman Dee
Andrews introduced Peace Week - a series of week-long activities
designed to unify the community.
Peace Week begins with the 8th Annual Candlelight Peace March on
Saturday, January 10, 2015. Please invite church members, family,
and your friends.
Walk with us to show our city that we stand united. Walk with us to
represent peace, love, and understanding - the true essence of
community. Walk with us!
Meet up at King Park, 1950 Lemon Avenue. The march begins at 5
PM.
