Operation Cerberus: Citywide Bioterror Preparedness Drill

Volunteers are needed for Operation Cerberus, a four day full scale exercise that will provide the City of Long Beach with an opportunity to practice citywide response to a simulated biological incident.
Actors/Volunteers: Your role is only on Thursday, November 19, 2015 from around 9 AM to Noon at Veterans Park. Free breakfast and an opportunity to win prizes will be provided! Register now!
Key concepts that will be tested include: alert, notification and decision-making; activation of City and department operation centers; medical countermeasures distribution and dispensing; and information sharing.
Your participation is pivotal in ensuring that our City departments and their staff are prepared to react in a moment's notice to the needs of Long Beach during a wide-scale catastrophic event.
The exercise will be designed in conjunction with the Statewide Medical and Health Exercise and SoCal READI.
